Stone Run Farms is a family-owned, pasture-based, local-market farm that produces pork, chicken, eggs and turkeys, which will leave the environment the way we found it and keep money in the local economy. Our farm is also safe, because we don’t use chemicals or poisons, plus, our products are antibiotic-free and growth-hormone-free.

• Our pork products come from hogs raised on pasture and not in confinement. Stone Run Farms has partnered with another hog farmer who now raises our hogs with the same farming techniques and philosophy as our own. Our products include several styles of sausage, roasts and, of course, pork chops!
• Our whole chickens have a diverse diet of grass and bugs, which means they have a much better flavor than conventionally raised chickens.
• Our eggs, which we gather daily, have a flavor that cannot be matched by store bought eggs, not to mention the health benefits.
• Our turkeys are a special holiday treat and must be pre-ordered. Again, these birds are pastured raised with all of the great health benefits of grass-fed meats.

Our pasture-based farming works with nature and allows each animal to do what it was designed to do, so we can create a quality, healthy, all-natural, tasty product for you. You won’t find taste like this in a grocery store!

Our goal is to be a seasonal-based farm, which means we don’t work against Mother Nature. If you produce out of season, your costs go up and the animals (and the farmers!) are under more stress.

We also involve our children in the day-to-day chores of the farm, because farming can be family-friendly! We want our children to experience and develop responsibility, discipline and teamwork.

Pastured-based farming provides a quality, better nutritional and economic valued product that tastes great.  Our products are natural, antibiotic, growth-hormone free and come from animals who forage on an open pasture with an all natural grain supplement that consists of kelp and a blend of over 60 trace minerals bought a local feed store.
